Welcome to the Regent Park Golf Academy, Charlotte's place to go for golf instruction. We believe that no two individuals learn in the same manner or at the same pace. Therefore, we strive to offer personalized programs to foster the development of each individual student. In addition, we meet your equipment needs with evaluations of your current set and custom golf club fitting.

Tip of the Month: SQUARE THE CLUBFACE BY SHAKING HANDS

In golf, the name of the game is squaring the clubface at the moment of truth. Try the following simple drill to help you square the clubface in the backswing, at the moment of truth, and in the forward swing. Stand in the address position without a club. Turn to your right as if you were going to shake someone's hand. Then, without moving your feet, turn to your left as if you were going to shake someone's hand. In both instances your right hand should be positioned perpendicular to the ground. Now try this with a club in your hand. This will help you to square the face throughout your entire swing without excess hand action.
